Vegas

I really haven't had a chance to blog about Vegas and I think now the moment has past but I did want to just post some of the highlights....

Friday 3/6- We arrived in Vegas around 6pm. Andrew had his bachelor party. He came home early Saturday morning and spent most of Saturday recovering...I guess he had fun:)Although he did end up popping a blood vessel in his eye due to getting sick Saturday. This made for a few interesting wedding pics. I had a much calmer night hanging out with my little boys in our hotel room recovering from a long drive and somewhat stressful day.

Saturday 3/7- Saturday the boys and I went to breakfast with Nancy , Steve and Chuck Sr. which actually turned out to be lunch since the place we went ran out of breakfast..Chuck, Amber and Aurora flew in and once they were settled in their room we went for a walk on the strip. We went to the M&M factory. Cameron had fun and was able to pic out the specific color of M&Ms that he wanted. Andrew and I separated from the group to go get our marriage license. We took a $30 dollar cab ride each way to the Marriage Bureau. We had heard that there could be at least an hour wait but we were in and out in about 20 min. Later that evening Andrew and I went with Chuck & Amber, Grandpa Chuck, Robin & John and Grandma Nancy to see the The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil. Thanks to Chuck and Amber for buying our tickets as a wedding present. I LOVE the Beatles and I LOVED the show. After the show ended and after we walked forever to get home. I went out with my friends for a bachlorette party. I had a great time and seriously have the best group of friends ever! Oh and no broken blood vessels for me.

Sunday 3/8- We got married Sunday evening. I spent most of the day recovering from Saturday night and getting ready. Andrew and the boys spent time with Andrew's family and my mom. To be honest I know they went to the aquarium but that's about all I know...
The wedding was awesome! I am so glad that we chose to get married by Elvis. He was great. The 7 min ceremony was pretty entertaining. The wedding party looked great and everything really came together. After the wedding we hung out with everyone back at our hotel for pizza, cake and champagne. All in all a fantastic time. Thank you to everyone who was part of our special day. We love you.

The whole week end was a lot of fun. And the wedding itself turned out very well--short but sweet. Everyone looked so nice. Elvis was a blast. And Julia, you were a beautiful bride--just a little more beautiful than you normally are. Your dress was gorgeous too. And I can't forget how good Andrew looked.
