My skater boys

This week was two of training for me at my new job. Things are going well and I think I have the hang of it. I start Monday working nights. I am totally nervous. Just because I will basically be on my own and how in the world am I going to stay up all night??? Cameron advised me to drink lots of coffee...so that's the plan. Things are pretty slow on the night shift so I think I will bring a book and read during down time...although reading makes me sleepy!? I guess I will just have to see how it goes. I also got my first paycheck today! We celebrated by going out to dinner!

Cameron has been learning how to skateboard and this week he got his very own skateboard (he had been using Andrew's old one). I think he is getting pretty good. We could have the next Tony Hawk on our hands!! Apparently watching Cam skate has inspired Andrew to buy a new board also. I am praying he doesn't brake any bones. After all we are so not as young as we used to be!! Lets hope he doesn't have a sprained wrist for the Alice and Chains show!!

Zeland had his last week of full time daycare. Next week he will go Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30-3:00. Possibly Friday for a few hours depending on how well I am doing with the sleep deprivation. Zeland is getting enormous! He has completely grown out of 0-3 months clothes. 3-6 month clothes are starting to get small!! Luckily we got lots of bigger sized clothes at my baby shower so we still are pretty good in the clothes department. I have bought some too...I can't resist. Today Z had on his first pair of jeans, a rocker tee and some devil shoes. He looked adorable with his little mohawk....which I can do nothing about. I try and put his hair down and it sticks right back up!!! Oh and I guess Z is getting a head start on learning to skateboard!

Here are some pics from today.....

It's never too young to start learning how to skateboard. Zeland does look like he's a natural--must be from his big brother and daddy. He's adorable in his "skating" outfit. Grandma Nancy
