Sleepy Baby

Since Zeland has decided to take the longest nap in the history of Zeland naps, I thought I would write a quick blog. (He has been asleep for like 2 1/2 hours!!) This week has been pretty busy. I have been looking for a job and had an interview on Tuesday. I still haven't heard, but I am not even sure that it was the job for me anyway....so the search continues. I am looking for hours that I could be gone and Andrew can be home with the kiddos. There are a few jobs that I have submitted my resume to that I hope to hear from. I would really like to get into the hospital with maybe the possibility of nursing school in the future...we shall see....

Yesterday Andrew was driving home from work and the honda died just before he was about to exit. We had it towed to a shop where they informed us that it was the battery and the alternator, which was going to cast $500 to fix! We called around since that seemed a bit high. The lowest estimate we got was $300. Since money is tight right now, Andrew has decided to do it himself!! The battery and alternator will run about $150 so granted this is the cheaper option I just hope he can do it!

I leave on Sunday to pick up Cameron in Connecticut. Mr. Z is coming with me so that all my friends can meet him. Our flight there is overnight so I am hoping he pretty much sleeps that whole time. Cameron started flying when he was 3 months and has always been a great traveler.

WAKE UP BABY!!!!!!

I know what you're thinking... "save that sleep for tonight baby!"

I've heard that good nappers are good night sleepers, so maybe he'll start sleeping longer now in general :) Here's hoping!

Have a great trip!!!

Cheezhead John says that maybe Z's long naps will help him get through the long flight to CT. Also, perhaps younger babies can be better for flying before they get too active as they get older.
Hope you have a quiet, safe flight.

What type of work do you do?

Sounds like Steve might be the "purrfect cat" to help with the car problems. Cars are his area of expertise.

Has Andrew checked if the voltage regulator is working? John recalled a time when one of our cars needed both a battery & alternator, which was actually caused by a defective voltage regulator. Of course, that had to be replaced, too.

I don't know but I will for sure tell him about the voltage regulator....
