Mission Escaping Heat!
It was (is) freaking hot in Phoenix. I really don't like Phoenix in the summer. All weekend we tried to avoid going outside as much as possible. We spent the weekend swimming in the morning, library, eating out, and watching lots of movies. The boys are on their own today for the 4th since I am working but I know they are trying to stay cool and are planning on BBQ'ing with Uncle Matt and Caroline. Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend.

It was good you found ways to beat the heat. It was hot here too and I spent some time in the city pool. Yesterday night it rained really hard before the fireworks. The rain cooled things off a bit.
Glad to see that Z seems to enjoy the water and pool now. However, I'll worry about him until he learns to swim.

Our weekend weather was delightful with light cool breezes off the lake. We enjoyed 2 days of spectacular fireworks along Lake Michigan in Milwaukee & Racine. John posted some photos & videos on Facebook & YouTube. John's YouTube channel is www.youtube.com/CheezheadJohn.
