Fun is Exhausting!

Its Wednesday and I finally feel normal after a very fun very exhausting weekend filled with old friends, bachlorette parties, and a wedding. I must be getting old when it takes half a week to recover from a weekend!!

Zeland spent time with my parents and Saturday Grandma Nancy took Z to the Rec Center for some swimming, and the library where they evidently checked out some puppets that Z loved and hasn't stopped talking about since Sunday.

Sunday Z and I went with my parents to visit GG and Great Grandpa. Z had a good time running around in his diaper, painting, playing with Sam the dog, smelling the flowers and eating endless amounts of vanilla ice cream!

Andrew stayed home and relaxed and did some manly things that I wanted done around the house but I think he mostly slept...we all know how much Andrew likes to sleep!

Guess who comes home on Sunday?!?! CAMERON!! I can't wait!

Andrew needs his sleep!!! Wow, Zeland sure does have a lot of family around - he's a lucky boy. Yay for Cameron coming back!!!

I wish I could have some of Z's energy--that would even things out a bit.

I don't know how you do it--work and two children. I barely make it through work on some days. Thank goodness I am going down to 4 days a week starting next week.

When are you going to the airport to pick Cameron up? Do I get to go?

I think Andrew needs to take some vitamins or something he is always needing a nap I keep telling him he isn't an infant! Ha!

Nancy- I wish you could come with us back Cam doesn't get to Phoenix until 10:30pm I don't think you want to hang out that long :)

Cheezhead John always needs lots of sleep & naps. Maybe it's an inherited Kruk gene?

I've also noticed that John & Nancy both inherited a lot of their parents habits, traits, etc. Do you & Amber notice similarities with Andrew and/or Chuck to Granny Nancy?

I don't want to leave the impression that I am always tired.
I believe I have a lot of energy for a 66 year old. I work fulltime, swim 1 mile every work morning, walk 3 miles on Saturday and Sunday mornings, clean the house thoroughly once a week, do all the laundry and engage in outside evening activities 2-3 times per week. I also drive down to Phoenix at least once a month. I'm not boasting but I want to dispel any thoughts that I sleep an unusually lot.

As for Andrew, his dad needed a lot of sleep. It doesn't all come from my side of the family. May I also remind people that indiviudals vary in their needs, sleep being one of them. Also, if you listen to the news and stay on top of current research, you will hear reports that our society for the most part is sleep deprived--too many don't get the sleep they require.
