Do you know what this tiny little bug is? No? Well its a freaking bed bug and that little bug is ruining my life. Last week Andrew found 4 of these bugs on the couch and decided to google them only to find out they were bed bugs. The next day I called an exterminator who confirmed that we did indeed have bed bugs and probably have had them for 5 weeks at least. $1200.00 is what it will cost to get rid of them and that is for the very mild case that we have. Thank the goodness we just have a mild case. Now my house looks like this :
and will for the next few weeks until the exterminator says that we are bug free. In the mean time we have to live our lives out of black garbage bags and oh by the way our couches were completely infested and had to be thrown out. I can't sleep and constantly feel things crawling on me and feel like crying all the time. Its awful and I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. Really trying hard to keep things in perspective and be positive but this just sucks.

I would be losing my mind, too,if I were in your situation. I can't believe you have to live out of bags for 3 more weeks. It really does suck!! Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Yeah Becky this hasn't been the most pleasant experience ever but hopefully we are on the road to getting rid of these nasty blood suckers!!

Austin may not be the best alternative for bugs as I think Texas is known for really big bugs, right Amber? And, remember the snake in the Wadey mailbox last year?
Even Alaska is known for their abundance of mosquitoes during the summer. But I think bed bugs can be found anywhere, eeeeeeek!

I have tried to call our HOA twice and no one has called me back but thanks for the reminder I am going to call today. I think there is a firewall and I am not sure the little buggers can get through that but I am not positive.
