Zeland at 18 months:
is getting more and more adorable everyday. I mean really just look at him how stinkin cute right?!
goes through times of eating everything in site to being very picky.
some favorite foods are any kind of cracker( prefers goldfish ), cherrios, yogurt, strawberries,waffles, apples, string cheese, broccoli however these are subject to change at any time without prior notice.
if he is hungry he runs to the kitchen and yells EAT EAT EAT!! Not very polite but he gets his point across.
is still not talking much. Our pediatrician says not to worry that he is fine. He understands and follows commands. Not to mention he is a boy so it may take him a little longer to talk.
is still in the 30th percentile for weight making him a little small but that is where he has fallen all along so we are not worried
is in the 90th percentile for height so I guess he is going to be tall and skinny. You know, just like me. Ha!
Loves his mama and cries when I leave the room and because of this I get nothing done on my days off which I actually like since I am terribly lazy and really who wants to do laundry on their day off!
Loves Max and Izzy maybe a little too much. :)
"barks" when he hears a dog barking in real life or on TV. So funny.
does not like sleeping
loves Dora the Explorer, Diego and Elmo
claps when we pick him up from daycare. Probably due to the fact that he gets bitten and beat up there but I like to think it's cause he misses me!
likes wrestling with Cameron and because of this when Cameron gets near Z he gets a smack on the head.
has an irrational fear of pigs and we find this absolutely hysterical!
loves to cuddle up and read books!
gives open mouth kisses we are working on this.
has the cutest laugh EVER!

I missed his 18 month birthday--yesterday. I missed Aurora's too. Once the babies get past the first year, it's hard to keep remembering their monthly birthdays. Thanks for reminding me. Happy 18 months Zeland!! I haven't been down to see you for a few weeks and I really miss you. Can't wait to see you (everyone else,too) at Thanksgiving.
I don't want you not to feel special, because you are. And you are very, very special to Zeland. However, when I was with Zeland several week ago, he cried when I left the room, too,several times. I felt so bad for him but good that he wanted me back. He must be at that stage where he recognizes people and misses them.
