First of all I wanted to say Thank you to Nancy for sending me these beautiful flowers for Mothers Day. I love getting flowers and tulips are my favorite!
Secondly Zeland had his appointment with the Ear, nose and throat Doc on Tuesday and it went really well. We didn't have to wait long and they had a little play area so Zeland was able to play while we waited to be taken back. Dr. Simms was very nice and answered all my questions. We agreed that the best thing for Zeland is to have tubes put in. As it stands right now he is not hearing as well as he should be. Dr Simms said it was like walking around all day and plugging your ears. Not really a good thing when you are learning how to talk. He said that the procedure takes like ten minuets and the kids are fine after. The tubes will last anywhere from 8-12 months. We are confidant that this will help our baby boy not have anymore ear infections and he will be able to hear clearly. I will hear from the surgery scheduler this week or early next week and get everything set up and see what our insurance will pay. I am so ready to get this done and over with. I pretty nervous but I know things will be fine and if this is the worst we are very blessed. Just keep my little munchkin in your thoughts and prayers.
Today we went to visit Auntie Kira for lunch and some shopping. We had a yummy lunch at The Cheesecake Factory. Zeland was a mess with spaghetti noodles everywhere! We didn't have any cheesecake since I am still on my food plan ( I have lost 19 pounds..whoo hoo! ) but my salmon salad was delicious! Shopping was fun, Zeland got some really cute crocs for summer and Kira got me some Ralph Lauren perfume for a mothers day/ birthday present. Zeland is an excellent shopper, in fact he napped pretty much the whole time we were at the mall. We always have the best time with Kira.
Thanks to Nancy and Kira for wonderful Mothers Day gifts.

Your Mother's Day treats aren't over yet. Dinner is on me if you can make it Friday night to Mesa to join Aunt Lill and me. Just name a time. The whole Wadey/Snow family is invited. If you have a restaurant in mind let me know.
The tulips really look colorful. Thanks for the picture.
I am sorry to hear that Zeland has to have tubes, but the fact that it is a short procedure makes me feel better. It is such a common procedure that all should go well, and if it helps him to feel and hear better, then it is worth it.
Beautiful flowers! Happy Mother's Day to all the family Moms!
Hope the plugs make Z well very quickly.
Maybe that's why John sometimes doesn't hear me very well, or he just isn't listening, LOL!
