8 days and counting!!

8 days until Andrew and I get hitched!! I am getting really excited as well as really stressed out! It is a really good thing we didn't decided to have a big wedding because I am not sure I could have handled it. Not to mention I am a big time procrastinator and save everything until the last possible second. I have yet to get Andrew's wedding band, all the boys need outfits and shoes, I need shoes, I need to order a wedding cake and I still have no idea what we are going to do about flowers. Needless to say I think we have a busy week ahead of us. Monday Andrew and Cameron are going to get haircuts. Tuesday I am going with Julie and get all of the things I still need at the mall and various stores. Wednesday I have to pick up my wedding dress, get the house in order and start packing. Thursday I am getting together with Kira to get our nails and toes done. Friday we are sending Cameron to school for a half day while we finish up packing. We are hoping to be on the road by noon. Andrew's dad and our friend Rob are flying into Vegas Friday and Andrew is having his bachelor party Friday night.

In big kid news....Cameron is doing good. He is looking forward to missing school for the wedding. We are going to try and do lots of kid friendly things while we are in Vegas so I am hoping he has fun. He did say that he didn't want to be the only Snow in our house. Which made me kinda sad but he calls Zeland - Zeland Andrew Wadey Snow. It must be hard being a kid and trying to figure all that crazy grown-up stuff!
He is dying for a cell phone so lately that has been brought up for discussion a lot more then I would like. I told him I didn't have a cell phone until I was like 21 so I am pretty much thinking he can wait until he is at least 11!! He can't even remember to feed the fish so I am positive he isn't responsible enough for a cell phone. When he was five he asked me for a laptop for Christmas...ridiculous..kids these days...

In baby news....Zeland is 9 months old and lookin pretty cute. We had a doctor visit last tuesday and the good news is that he is right on target with all his milestones. He has five teeth and getting used to eating table foods. He has been using a sippy cup which I think he mostly just likes to chew on. He is saying Mama and Baba although I am sure he doesn't know what he is saying I would like to think when he says mama that he wants me :). The bad news is he has another ear infection. This makes a total of five in the last 6 months! We will do another round of antibiotics and re-check in a few weeks and if he still has an ear infection we will schedule an appointment with an ENT. We are hoping that with the change in weather he will start to get better. I would really like to avoid putting tubes in his ears but obviously we will do what is best for Zeland.
