Happy New Year!!

These last couple weeks have been really busy. You would think with one less kid I would have found more time to blog! Between the holidays and both our cars breaking down I guess I have just been preocupied.

Besides our car trouble we had a great Christmas. We spent time mostly with my family in Camp Verde and Prescott. Zeland seemed to enjoy his first Christmas. He loved opening his presents. I had to wrap one of Cameron's again because Zeland decided he needed to open Cameron's presents too! Grandma Nancy was kind enough to watch Zeland the friday after Christmas since daycare was closed and Andrew and I both had to work.

New Years was pretty quiet at our house. We went out to dinner at one of our favorite mexican resturants. After dinner we went home and put Z-monster to bed and had a few glasses of champage. We called it a night around 10pm after watching a few episodes of True Blood. I guess we must be getting old.

Cameron came home yesterday. He did great flying on his own. I am really proud of him. I am glad to have him home. I think Zeland missed him too! When he saw Cameron he flashed him a huge smile and they laughed all the way home!

We have been so blessed this last year and are looking forward to 2009. This year I will officially become a Wadey. Its seems as though we are already married but we will be making it official in March. Cameron will be 9 years old and will be going into the fourth grade!! Z-monster will have his first birthday! He is growing and changing so quickly. We are looking forward watching him grow and learn to crawl, walk and talk.

We hope you all have a happy and healthy new year!

Pictures to come soon!

Happy New Year! I guess we "slightly older" Cheezheads are still a part of the late night crowd at the Boathouse where we heard a good band playing country western & songs from the '60s & 70's on New Year's Eve.

We enjoy following your blog about our growing family. Glad to hear that the boys are bonding.
I had a big sister that was 11 years older than me when I was growing up. It was an advantage for me as I got into things like rock music at a very young age as I listened to my sister's radio. Perhaps Z & C will get into Andrew's music.

I didn't have your e-mail address, so I e-mailed our Annual Cheezhead Newsletter to you on Facebook. We forgot to get a photo of you at our Christmas Eve dinner last year when we met you. Thought we might see you again on our way back to the airport. Our photo highlights of the year are included on my Robin's chirp blog.

I'm surprised at how many "younger" people didn't stay up late New Year's Eve. Almost everyong I talked to was in bed by 10 p.m. (And I talked to several in their 20's and 30's).I guess when you're busy with work, Christmas and family, you're too tired to party.

Looking forward to seeing you all next week end. I can wish you all a Happy New Year in person. It's been nice to be home on New Year's and this week end to get some things done around the house, but I miss you all.
