Poor baby

My poor little baby is a mess these last few weeks!!! It all started with a cold that I took him to the doctor for like 2 weeks ago. She checked his lungs,ears and said he was fine. He finally seemed to be over the cold on the Wednesday before our shot box appointment on Friday. Since Friday he has been having a slight fever on and off, a runny nose, and a cough. On top of all this the nurse at daycare called me yesterday and said she thought he might have thrush. I took him to the Doctor this morning and sure enough he has thrush. Basically its where the amount of yeast in the mouth can overgrow and lead to an infection. It's common among babies for the first six months. She gave us a script for a liquid medicine that we have to give him 4 times a day. It should clear up in a few days. This explains why he was not eating as much these last few days. Having thrush can hurt. Poor little guy!! I am hoping that I can get him all better this weekend. We have been using the humidifier, baby vicks and the nose sucker thing. Which by the way he totally hates. I can't say I blame him. It doesn't seem like it feels very good. I have been tempted to try it...maybe I will make Andrew try it instead!!
