Izzy
Our Cat Izzy has had a hard time adjusting to Zeland being around. When we first came home she walked around with her tail down and wouldn't come into our room where we spent most of our time the first few weeks. She would sit at the door but never come in. Lately however she has warmed up a bit. Yesterday she sat on Andrew's lap while he held Zeland which is the closest she has been to the baby. We have to watch her though...she was found sleeping in the bassinet and also enjoying the bouncy seat. We don't let her sleep in our room at night anymore... The last thing I want to worry about is her jumping in the bassinet with Zeland in it!

You've put together my favorite things--grandbabies and cats. I just love the pictures, particularly of Andrew, Z, and Izzie. Too bad Julia couldn't be in it too. Izzie's behavior is actually pretty normal as I understand it. She probably thinks she's being replaced by the baby. In time she should warm up to Z. I think it's important to keep her same schedule if possible and treat her as always. However, change what needs to be changed for Z's safety. I don't think she would hurt him, but it's better to be on the safe side. Nancy
Well Nancy, be prepared to see even more of your favorite things together.... well, okay, so Tater isn't as good as Izzy.
