36 weeks

I had my 36 week check up today. My Strep-B test came back negative, I didn't gain any weight from last week (thank god!), baby Z's heart rate was 148 he was really active this morning during my appointment. The Dr. said my cervix is still thick and I am not dilated much to speak of.
I have been having a lot of braxton hicks contractions the last few days they are not painful and usually go away once I change positions. Besides having contractions I am feeling really good. I was having bad pelvic pain and that seems to have gotten better and I have noticed that I am sleeping much better. My friend at work says this is the calm before the storm and to take advantage of feeling good because I am about to have my baby! YIKES! Having baby Z here early would be fine by me. Obviously we want the baby to be healthy and to come when he is ready. I am just hoping its not after my due date because Cameron will be leaving for CT on the 23rd and I really want him to be here to see his little brother.
We are still having problems with the computer so still no pics from the baby shower...hopefully soon. I am having my work baby shower pot luck tomorrow so I am looking forward to hanging out with all my co-workers and eating all the yummy food everyone is bringing! Until next time.....
