My first blog!!

Ok so I decided to start a pregnancy blog which seems a little absurd since I am 28 weeks pregnant but I thought better late then never and this will be a good way for people to know whats going on with us that we don't talk to on a daily basis.
First things first we are having a boy and we have decided to name him Zeland Andrew Wadey. Nicole actually gave me the idea when we first found out we were having a baby but Andrew said no way right from the beginning so we tossed around some other ideas Lennon, Soren but secretly my heart has been set on Zeland. I have been calling him baby Z for a while now and finally it started to grow on Andrew. So we have officially decided on baby boy Wadey's name. I couldn't be happier!
Baby Z is one active little guy!! I don't remember Cameron being this active! Every time I feel a little kick or jab it totally cracks me up. Even at 3am I find myself laughing when he is awake and kicking...lets hope I feel that way when he is actually here and keeping me up all night!

Second of all where as the time gone?? I cant believe that I only have about 12 weeks to go! Yikes! My pregnancy has been pretty uneventful. I had morning, noon and night sickness for the first few months and have noticed lately some pelvic pain which my Dr. assures me is perfectly normal as the baby starts to get in the right position for delivery. I had an OB visit on Tuesday which was my glucose test to check for gestational diabetes. My Dr. said they would call me and let me know if I need to do the 3hr glucose test and if my iron levels are low I will need to add some iron to my diet. If I don't get a call then I am to assume that all is well.....I will keep you posted! I start going to the Dr. every two weeks now and then I will be down to every week.

Nicole has been planning my baby shower pretty much since I found out I was pregnant..LOL ( I love her and couldn't be blessed with a better friend) and the festivities should be the first weekend in April so be on the look out for your invites. We are registered at babies r us under Julia Snow. Thank you to all the people that have already started to help us get ready for the arrival of baby Z we really appreciate all the gifts. Ok I am out for now...are blogs supposed to be this long winded??! Sorry about that I promise to keep it short and sweet from now on!
